Seriously, these printers make a LOT OF NOISE. Like, thundering level noise. This book is quite literally being born to a dramatic drumroll.

...This bit makes me vaguely anxious. Like, in all those hundreds of thousands of papers, how is this one page going to find its way home? Or will one book have Estie and Fish forever waiting to finish their conversation? So many questions.

(Just kidding.)

Okay, on to happier thoughts--

Like more papers, flashing by! And massive thundering galumphing printers!

Look at that nice little patter-into-row-er. Tireless kindness, continually nudging all the pushy papers into a row. Do they thank him? Do they acknowledge his nonstop labor? They do not. Only rush by, hissing and thumping, to their appointment with the next bit of machinery.

What a thankless job.

We recognize you, patter-into-row-er. Your effort does not go unnoticed or unlauded. All hail the P.I.R.E.!
